Why I Love Squidoo
Several weeks ago I came across a link for a site called Squidoo. The person promoting the link stated that building a lens on Squidoo would become addictive. After checking out the site, I decided to give it a try. Now I have 5 Lens. I suppose they were right! What is Squidoo
To me, Squidoo is a cross between an information hub and a social networking site. Average folks like you and I create free (FREE) single page sites called a LENS. You can write about anything that interest you. ANYTHING! The social networking part comes in to play by people of similar interests coming together in a club for a particular topic or interest. And people search for a topic or subject, read your lens and can leave comments or "favor it". There is also a rating system whereby people can rate your Lens. Why Squidoo
Besides the pure enjoyment of meeting great people, seeing your writings in print, the fun of putting your Lens together, you can also make money on Squidoo. You won't get rich, you can't "quit your day job", but everyone can use a little extra money nowadays, especially with the price of gas! It will take a while to begin to make money with your Squidoo Lens, but the more you put into it, the more you'll get out of it. How to Build a Lens
This is the beauty of Squidoo. All you have to do is do a search for something like "Squidoo HTML" or "how to build a lens", and you can find lens what explain it very nicely. Also, once you have clicked the "Build a Lens" link, you are taken through a short 3 Step wizard which will set up the basic outline for you. Then you just edit the sections, called "modules". Everything is pretty much self-explanatory, user friendly and just down right fun! OK, I'm Interested
